Principal’s Message

Dear Cougar Community,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Hungary Creek Middle School. We are thrilled to begin another year of learning, growth, and Cougar pride under our new theme: All Paws Together: Leaping To New Heights. This theme reflects exactly who we are – a united community committed to lifting one another, celebrating progress, and striving for excellence in every classroom, every hallway, every day.

Last year, our students and staff achieved remarkable gains across all content areas. We saw stronger daily attendance, increased mastery and growth in reading and math, steady performance in science even with a brand‑new assessment, and exceptional progress in English Learner achievement. These successes highlight the resilience, dedication, and collective effort of students, families, and educators working all paws together.

As we enter this new school year, we are energized to build on this momentum and continue creating a learner‑centered community where every student is seen, supported, and celebrated.

Thank you for your partnership, your trust, and your commitment to HCMS. We look forward to another incredible year of growth, joy, and Cougar excellence.
